Dr. Rachael E. Pelletti earned her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Southern Connecticut State University (CACREP) and her master's degree in Counselor Education, with a specialization in Clinical Professional Counseling, from Central Connecticut State University (CACREP). She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut, as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
With more than a decade of clinical experience spanning mental health, rehabilitation, and addiction counseling, she brings both practical expertise and a steadfast commitment to advancing the counseling profession. As an Assistant Professor at Central, she is passionate about preparing and inspiring the next generation of counselors. She is also a strong advocate for systemic change, delivering presentations on the destigmatization of substance use disorders at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels.
As a proud member of CCA, she has demonstrated her commitment to the organization through thoughtful and collaborative leadership as Co-Chair of the CCA Conference Planning Committee, where she has prioritized meaningful networking and professional development opportunities. As President-Elect, she is committed to building on these efforts by further establishing CCA as a professional home for emerging and new counselors while serving and strengthening the broader counseling community.
