Dr. Mikayla Sleeter-Bozym has been an LPC for the last 10 years. She graduated from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi with her masters degree in counseling. She received her doctorate from Capella University in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior.
Mikayla works full-time for a non-profit agency in New London County as the director of the Urgent Crisis Center and IICAPS. She also has a small private practice where she specializes in working with those who have been impacted by intimate partner violence. Lastly, she is an adjunct professor at CCSU who teaches the internship course.
Outside of work she lives an active lifestyle with her husband, 10 year old son, and 2 dogs. She enjoys going to the beach, watching her son play sports year round, hiking, and riding her peloton. Her favorite part of being part of CCA is the connection to like-minded professionals and supporting the conferences!
