Brandon Ricke is a current graduate student and member of Chi Sigma Iota, enrolled in a clinical mental health counseling program with an expected completion date of early 2026. Brandon holds a bachelor’s in organizational psychology and was recently certified in DBT. In 2021, he began a career transition from organizational change management to a helping career in community support/mental health and addiction recovery. He has worked in acute and sub-acute psychiatric settings where his work was focused on treatment and discharge planning as well as building independent living skills in a diverse patient population to prepare them for reentry into the community. Brandon has also worked in medically assisted treatment facilities as an alcohol and drug counselor where harm-reduction was a significant part of the continuum of care offered. In his free time, he enjoys exploring his new home state with his partner. He looks forward to being of service to the Connecticut Counseling Association.
