Barbara is a third-year graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Connecticut State University. She has completed graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through the University of North Texas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University. She is also a certified grief educator.

Currently, Barbara works full-time as an airline pilot and is a veteran retired from the United States Air Force Reserve. She also brings over fifteen years of experience working as a community behaviorist and BCaBA supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and adults with intellectual disabilities. 

Barbara serves as a mentor with Empower Grieving Children and Women in Aviation, Intl. and has held various board positions with local nonprofits. In her free time, Barbara enjoys being active outdoors (hiking, biking, paddling) and traveling. She is excited to be part of the CCA community for continued educational opportunities and to connect and network with other students and professionals in the field.
